Loving 'Loving Tan'

For a while now I've been trying to take extra care of my skin. I've always been one to lay out on the beach, trying to get the perfect summer tan in 30 degree heat. But now as I am getting older, I try to just enjoy the water and try to keep my skin as protected from sun damage as possible. Only thing is, I still love that beautiful summer glow.

About 2 years ago, I looked into getting spray tans and other selfless tanning options to avoid spending too much time in the sun. It's safe to say that I've tried almost every self tanner there is on the market.

I'll be honest, I only ever fake tanned for special occasions mainly because the smell always got to me, and not to mention how orange and patchy some products can make you look.

As time went by, I'd always heard about Loving Tan but figured it would be the same as all the others I've tried. One day as I was shopping around, I came across their beautiful range of self tanners, bronzing products and tools and much to my excitement, body makeup!

Needless to say, the packaging alone sold just about everything to me (yep! I'm a sucker for great packaging) So I thought okay... let me just try this. I picked up the 2 hour express deluxe bronzing mousse and the and the deluxe body makeup, instant air brush finish for my Instagram arm swatches.

The mousse was not at all like any other self tanner I've used before. All the things that always bothered me, was no longer an issue with Loving Tan. I was so thrilled that the scent was actually lovely, not to mention the great colour guide technology, which is so important in order to get an easy and even application. It was exactly the kind of natural looking tan that I was looking for. It quickly dried and I allowed it to develop for 2 hours before washing it off. Some additional bonuses of the product is its paraben and alcohol-free formula. It's also made in Australia (YAY! Proud Aussie).

Now let's talk about that body makeup...!

One day I was running late for a friend's wedding and I didn't have time for my tanning routine. I applied the deluxe body makeup with my hands as though it was moisturiser. Oh... my... gosh! I was not expecting it to look as flawless as it did. It quickly became a 'must have', 'go-to' beauty product of mine.

Since then, I started to use it as a base for my makeup swatches on my arms and legs for my Instagram art. The flawless finish meant that there was never a need for me to Facetune or photoshop my images.
